Nevada Sample Gallery, testing new galleries, ongoing things…

I let this site sit and rest for a week or so and then have spent some time the last couple of days trying to address a few things.

Firstly, I have tried several times to get the ‘subscribe’ button to appear as anything but the magnifying glass. All these efforts have been in vain and I’m going to learn to live with this small quirk. As long as the functionality remains good, it’s not worth all the effort and headache!

Secondly, I’ve been testing different ways to post galleries. I spent a day photographing the Nevada desert this month and have put together a quick slideshow/gallery of a dozen or so images. Rather than posting them all to a new gallery under that section of the main menu I have been trying to see if I could automate the whole process. So keep an eye out on different pages for items labeled along the lines of “Nevada 2014” and if you click you may get taken to a slide show or a gallery or individual image – or none of those if I continue to flounder as a techie! If all works out well, the link to this gallery should be at the top of this post!

Thirdly, I’ve added “share” options on a couple of pages so if you see something (or the whole site!) you like, please click one of those buttons and share the link with your own connections.
