Notes about navigating the images on this site
October 13, 2014
I will use this post to point out things I consider distracting or confusing (not intuitive) about moving around on this site.
You may notice that if you click on one of the images on the home screen you are taken to that image with options to toggle forward or backward. You should know that you are in the gallery page for that particular image so you won’t see any pictures in other galleries. To be able to toggle through all of the galleries at once, you can use the “All Images” link under “Galleries” in the top menu or the “Photographs” link at the bottom menu. Of course, you can access any individual gallery in the sub-menus under “Galleries” at the top of the home page!
You may notice a date on each photo when you hover over the thumbnail image. That date is not the date of the photo but the date it was uploaded to this site. I don’t know how to manipulate (remove) this date so it appears to be a necessary (though to me quite useless) piece of information.
